Well, I have nothing against gay people and I'm not against abortion...

RichieW2001 02-16-2004 10:14 PM

bit of a contrast really. i think they would need separate topics. i'm sure they've been spoken about before now, though.

Is this some kind of deffensive question just to find out if you'll be abnned here or not.

Well, I guess you can post almost whatever you want!

i think that women have the right to choose whether they want to give birth to a child or not. also abortion should be legal everywhere around the world so women don't resort to non medical means for it.
about homosexuality... i don't think there should be any form of social discrimination against these people. they have every right to do whatever they want in their personal lives and in their beds :P :)

i agree with all that. i dont see why so many people think abortion and homosexuality are wrong, but its probably cos "the bible says so".
crash diet, u might wanna know that there was a topic called "if you were raped and got pregnant would you get an abortion?" and another one about abortion before that, and homosexuality has probably been debated in some topic here too.

I think men who are the father of an accidentally conceived child should have more rights when it comes to deciding on abortion or not. They have to pay fees for the kid after it's born and through it's life and I think if it was from a fling or one night stand, that's an unfair position to put a man in. I think if the woman decides to keep it and the man doesn't want to, he shouldn't be obliged to support financially (unless he wants to of course).

I think that's complete bullsh*t. When you have sex your risking pregnancy and stds. If you choose to have sex I think you should have to suffer the consequences. If a man doesnt want to be a father, then he should either get a vascectomy or just abstain. Same for a woman. Even if you use a contraceptive cause theyre not 100%.

As for abortion, i think its a cop out. You made your bed you gotta lay in it. The only time i would agree with it is if the woman was raped or if her health is at risk. I wouldnt want it to be illegal though. I dont want irresponsible people bringing anymore f***ed up people into this world.

As you don't have to carry it, it isn't really for you to say that it's a cop out. Pregnancy can still occur whilst using contraceptives. Each to their own. My body, my choice.
