Drug tests at school...
 Every school is going to have drug tests :x I think its pointless i mean what can they do? What do you think??
|
I'm glad they didnt do it when i went to school, but yes it is pointless and teachers are there to teach NOT to police! why doesnt Tony look at why people take drugs? i know you will always get peolpe that will drugs but theres more of it now than there was when i was a kid.Plus there isnt realy any deterant to taking drugs, if you get caught its a slap on the wrist and told not to do it again :? there should be something more stronger than that IMO
|
Well im ok cos i dotn do drugs but i know people who take abit every now and then, And i personally think its ok to take some as long as you dont go crazy and it aint serious stuff that could kill you like straight away. And teachers cant do anything they will just tell the person off... wow. Teenagers and kids dont listhen to teachers anyway :? It should be up to parents to tell their kids what not to do IMO...

If you're in the school it's they're responsibility to make sure it's not happening. kid's like fighting. doesn't mean the teachers have to turn a blind eye and your forgetting how much peer pressure there is in school. how many kids actuyally start smoking because they want to and not because they feel pressured into it?
not alot and the same as with drugs, the less people that get started on them the better. |
they should've done that at my former high school, that would've been fun

Mandatory drug testing in school is a violation of your right to privacy. The school is there to educate, nothing more. If you're doing drugs, its up to your parents to discover and remedy that. Mandatory drug testing in school is, IMO, just to accustom young people to losing their privacy.

I think it's unfair for the teachers to try and teach in a classroom where some students are under the effects of drugs. I think tests are fair for them. Parents often don't listen and take the part of their children, being too blind to see what's really going on. If the teacher has evidence the student is doing drugs the thing works much better.
I don't care about privacy in this instance. It deals with minors, and the fact that minors are going to school after taking drugs actually scares me. |
