Paypal question...
I've been avoiding signing up/opening an account with Paypal for a long time now which means I can only bid/get things from ebay which I can pay with cash/cheques/credit cards directly...So...can anyone tell me how safe it is and/or any bad experiences?...I'd really love any comments on this. Thanks in advance

My mom and husband have been using it for a long time and haven't had any bad experiences with it. :D

I have used it for years and have had no problems either.

Another question:
Until now I only used Paypal for paying things but never received money through it. How does it work when I want to receive money? do I have to pay a special fee for getting money? |
Quote:
If you receive money from a person, paypal gets a small fee of it. But it depends on the amount you get. Normally what I do is: take the total amount you are getting. Take 3% of it and add $0.30. That's the fee they charge you (at least that's what the website says). All details of the fees are on the website. Cause you have 2 different kind of account! |
Thanks everyone for all the replies, really appreciate them! I have two more questions  ...sorry...how long does it take to use the account once you open/sign up for it? and can you close/cancel it if you don't use that much?...Many many thanks!!!
