One of our teachers died today
 

A teacher at one of the middle schools had a heart attack and died in class today. :( It's been a hard day at the school. They called in everyone who had a counseling degree to help with counseling. I'm not sure I was the right person to do grief counseling, but I did it anyway. It was really quite a shock.

I'm sorry to hear that Becky - it was probably very hard on the kids too. My son had a teacher die when he was in middle school (not in class but also unexpectedly of a heart attack) and it bothered him for quite a while.
It's nice that people such as you help other people out at a difficult time like that.

That`s really awful to hear. I hope you can cope with it yourself Becky cause it is hard to be a counselor at times like these.
