Misunderstood is a big f*cking mistake
 

They are ****ing stupid releasing this as the next single. I don't know which is the worst song for a single; Say It Isn't So, or Misunderstood. Say It Isnt So did absolutely shite, even though they spent $1,000,000 (that's one million dollars for all of the Americans) on the ****ing video. I think they have lost touch with the music business, because if they think that this will be a hit; lets be honest, thats the only reason why they release singles, then they are hugely mistaken. I think Richie should put his foot down and say "NO, stop making all of the decisions Jon, you are too stupid."

By the way, the swear word that I used was F.U,C.K,I.N,G. Just remove the punctuation marks, (if the Americans can).

This will guarantee another drop in their (already) decreasing popularity.

i agree with you krb102, i dont know why they act this weak! i think jon decides of all....and i dont know why they think misunderstood gonna be a hit!!!! i think they dont look at the charts, the band that should be no.1 is about no.40!!!!!

I agree too, Misunderstood is for sure not the best choice for a single and I really can't imagine that it would become a single hit. I don't know who decides the singles if Jon or the record company but whoever chooses the singles should know this after so many years in the biz.

Humm... Ehh... To be honest, I wouldn't mind if they would release it, I think it is a great song...

I really can't decide which is the better next single:

- The Distance
- All about loving you
- Misunderstood

I think it is a bit like routine to issue ...rock song ..then soft rock/ballad song.....Only thing is they choose the wrong ballad...anyway, let's wait and see how is "MISUNDERSTOOD" doing on the charts..

I'm inclined to disagree - I think Misunderstood will do quite well in the UK charts, if it had been the lead single I think it might have even reached #1.

Hey it could be Richie who chooses the singles. I hope not though because Jon left him to produce One Wild Night live and that didn't turn out too well. Just goes to show they work best when they work together.

Even if it would be Richie it would be a mistake. As I said whoever choose the singles, that could be everyone. Do you think if it would be Richie's decision it would make it any better?

I personally think it's the record company's choice. At least I read somehwere that Jon originally wanted to publish Just Older as a single instead of Say it isn't so or Thank you but the record company didn't want it. Just Older would have been the far better choice.
