Does anyone not like the "classics"?
 

Just being curious. Does anyone of you not like the Bon Jovi "classic" songs like Prayer, Wanted, Runaway, Always?
To me, Wanted is (along with These Days & Blame it on the Love of R´n´R) my favourite Bon Jovi song. Prayer, Runaway and Always would also be in my Top20, cause those are also three fantastic songs. And I still enjoy to hear them live (especially Wanted) :D

So, do you think those songs are overrated and/or have been played too often in the past? Or do you (still) love them?

I could lose Runaway but I think Prayer and Wanted are live essentials.

As a Bon Jovi fan it's some times anoyying how everyone makes a big scene of the classics, and sometimes I feel like saying, or do say that there is another 100 Bon Jovi songs that are just about as good.

Don't get me wrong, I do love the classics. Prayer, Life, Bad Name, Medicine are all songs that I still love after hearing them 50 times.

I think "Always" is pretty much overrated. IMO "Be there for you", "Living in Sin" and "silent night" are better.

I'm not too fond of Bad Name and I think Wanted and Always are overrated. But they're classics.

I am REALLY sick of hearing some of the classics at every concert. If I never heard Bad Name live again, I wouldn't miss it. I also wouldn't miss "wanTED" just because the way Richie says it irks the hell out of me. The redeeming quality of that song is the way the audience takes over and sings it at the top of their lungs. It's great until Richie joins in with his wanTEDs. It reminds of me of 10th grade history and having to listen to the teacher say CathoLICism over and over again.

I wouldn't call Always a classic. But if you would I can say from the bottom of my heart that I don't like it.

I don't like Always too much and for sure it's not a classic!-ok the high point is the solo,but I really don't like the rest of the song -OMG-I really think that always is so much overrated!
BTW,I really love Richie's "wanTED" part;)he's the man!

I wouldn't call Always a classic either, right, it's overrated! Wanted, Runaway, LOAP are great, but I wouldn't like to miss LOAP and Wanted at concerts, I can't imagine a concert without these 2 songs.

i love prayer and always, its great to hear them live as wel as new songs and others from the album
