Leeds United's future was guaranteed after a locally-based consortium completed a £30m takeover on Friday.
The terms of the agreement with major creditors will see Leeds Utd plc and a holding company placed into administration prior to being wound up.

The move will allow the assets and reduced debts to be taken over by Leeds Utd AFC.

The consortium is led by Leeds businessman Gerald Krasner, and includes former player Peter Lorimer

Its looking a lot better now :) David O Learny and Peter Reid have agreed to massive reductions in their settlement fees, I think that helped too. Its says on the BBC that they're gonna try and get Strachan for next season, with Eddie Gray being offerend a permenant role at the club. At least we've managed to stay out of administration, but I think the big names will still be going if we go down.

Lets keep our fingers crossed for leeds then but i cant see them staying up :?
