got the results back from the Doctor.

Some of you already know this, but I guess I will say it here as well.
It's still kind of unreal to me actually, but on Thursday, my Neuro said that the tests confirmed that I have MS (Multiple Sclerosis).

Not much they can do for it, beside have my on some sort of med for the rest of my life OR until they come up w/a cure.
I will have to take a shot 3x a week, ugh and I hate needles.

Oh well, I know it could be worse, much worse. I'm trying to look at it from that point of view.

I'm sorry to hear about this :( I know that you've been through a difficult time this year. As least you know what is wrong for sure now. Hopefully they can find a cure for MS very soon.

Sorry to hear such bad news. But like Stephanie said, at least you know what is wrong now and you can work on dealing with it. Just remember that your friends at Jovitalk are here whenever you need us.

I'm sorry, eeyore. I'm glad you know what it is that is causing you all this pain, though. Hopefully something can be found to make it more bearable. My thoughts are with you.

I'm so sorry to hear this. At least knowing what you are dealing with has to be better than not knowing the problem though.
I have known a woman with MS for many years - she is a parent in my daughter's school. She does have her bad days but overall she manages quite well - including dealing with 2 kids. I've heard that there are degrees of the disease - I hope yours turns out to be managable and mild.
