1 question
i have been buying cds instead of burning them for 5 years now and a few months ago, i forgot my cd case in the train with all my cds( all my bj singles) in it exept 1 wich was in my cd player.... and i was wondering if you guys thought it would be alright to burn the ones i had already bought, i don't really like the idea and i've already started to buy some again(its weird having 2 cases of the same cd)
just bored so thought i'd ask.... and remember......................BIOU!!!! |
Its up to you, I never download any offically release cd's...but if I had them all and then lost em..I'd take a serious look at my finances and then decide

Just for the future, you should copy the CDs that you want to carry around and shouldn't take the original CD with you. This is legal as long as you don't crack a copy protection. But BJ's CDs aren't copy protected (until now). |
Thats a dilly of a pickle.
But I would just get a burnt copy anyway. Since you already forked out the money for the orginals. I don't think you should have to buy them all again. |
I don't have any original CD's in my car. They are all copies of the originals which I own. Nothing downloaded. Downloading is illegal, even if you've bought the original at one point. I do suggest copying the CD's though once you've re-purchased them and carrying around the copies. As far as my understanding goes, it's legal to copy for your own backup, as long as you are not selling or giving away copies.

It's sharing that is illegal. Even sharing bootlegs. |
