Just two little presents; one for my mother and one for my mother-in-law.

no I don't really care for mother day .. not for me as a mom but I did something for my own mother when she was alive (not just on mother's day though)
my kids love to do something for me but i am not expecting anything

Yes. When I like something for someone else I just get it, I like giving presents any time of the year not on a particular situation.

i like real present but usualy u dont get what u really want so money would be good lol but i love to have real surpise present from the persons who meant most to me..

I buy both, albeit there are more films I like than musicians so my movies greatly outnumber my music dvd's

cds - they are smaller and easier to carry

mini disc or cd player?

CD's, as MiniDiscs are compressed just like MP3. I don't mind the extra size for carrying, not like I need to keep my music in my pocket. I have a case that fits my player, headphones, batteries and 32 cds and it fits in my bag, I'd rather have a little extra weight than compressed music.
