In addition, due to the tremendous amount of time spent posting on such a board, this person fashions strong ties to other people on the board with similar interests and posting habits. These strong ties thrive on shared interests, inside jokes and jocularity, shared anecdotes, and interest in the personal and professional well being of members of the message board community.
