cos im thinking of doing bunches of artwork of my heroes including BJ, and probs sell it off to raise some money for myself, and i just wondered if there was amarket for it? on ebay, i seen someone selling their painting for 60 quid...

Here we have kiosks in the middle of our shopping malls that sell drawings of actors, singers, sports stars, etc.....They charge $20 just for the picture, plus a lot more if you get it framed. I was going to buy a Bon Jovi one, but I didn't really care for the pose they used. Try it with a few and see what happens.

Yeah, I was thinking of using Ebay to sell my BJ artwork but I've noticed there's only mixed success which doesn't necessarily reflect on the quality of the work or the seller's asking prices. It's a bit too hit and miss for me to rely on as a useful source of income. I have some of my work up in the FANART section of this site - would you buy it if you saw it in the shops for £10-15 for an A2 print Jag?

Depends on if I like it. But I am sure there is a market for this stuff.

I personally wouldn't buy it, but I know there is a definite market out there for it!

i checked out yr work, u like going for the photo realistic style which i have alot of respect for mainly cos i ifnd it too restrictive for me.

with my stuff i have alot of lines in there to capture mood, which work swell with fight scenes in my comics :)

a question i wanted to ask was the 'early yrs' artwork, it looks like a print/photocopy of yr drawing, is it?

as for the 10-15 quid...i dont think it is the worst price in the world, i wouldnt buy it tho cos it isnt the artwork i go for, but alot of ppl like your style so u shoudl be able to sell it off.

Yeah it is unfortunately - the original I gave to my ex and never got it back - she was a bitch!!!

I hope you manage to find the market though for your stuff. I do mainly go for the photorealistic style (probably due to my design technology skills) but I have been looking at more energetic stage poses for my newer stuff which I think, if I can nail and get the energy there, will be more likely to sell than some of the photo-shoot poses. Btw, why don't you post some of your pics in the FANART section? If they're good enough to sell, they'll surely be good enough to put in the gallery here and I'd definitely love to see a few. :wink:

yeah i think i may do that but i dont have any BJ stuff apart from one Richie which most ppl have seen, i may post it there anyhow, actually i think i will later on :)

by the way what kinda sizes do u liek wokring on, i usually prefer big papers/canvas'.

yeah i would as long as i had the spare cash and it was a good pic.
but theres loads of other thing on my jovi list to buy before drawings.
