Is hardcore christianity a sin??? (going with the god thing)

The hardcores often condem homosexuals. Through in the bible it clearly states that you should love and forgive everyone and show no prejuduce at all toward them basically let god deal with them kind of thing. So doesnt excluding homosexuals and basically putting them down all the time break that rule?. Just something i was mulling over while sitting here intensly bored. What do you guys think on it?

Yes theres 2 things i know of (im only on exodous) theres thou shall not lay with someone of the smae sex (or something along those lines) and it also says you shouldnt shove things up your ass somewhere in it too so yup to a extent it condems them. tho those are the only two i know of and already ive read loads of things about showing love and not hate to all and show no discrimination and all that. So technicaly that means that while someone knows its a sin for people to be gay they should still accept them and treat them the same not condem them. Thats my thinking anyways on it.

You have to keep in mind that the Old Testament is more of a history book. The New Testament is where you find Jesus's teachings on how to live your life which boils down to love God and treat others with love. You can love a person without thinking that everything they do is right. Jesus also taught "let he who is without sin cast the first stone." And contrary to popular believe, "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" is NOT Biblical. It's part of a verse that says something to the extent of, "It has been said unto you an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, but I say unto you if someone slaps you on your right cheek turn to him your left..."

Just one of many contradictions in the Bible.

I think christianity is all about love and that's love the most important thing. So if you love someone of the same sex it should be ok.

umm the eye for a eye thing is biblical. Exodus 21:22-25 -
22 - If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart and yet no mischeif follow : he shall be surely punnished, according as the womans husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.
23 - Eye for a eye, tooth for a tooth, hand for a hand, foot for a foot.
24 - Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.

Not sure what it all means but yup the eye for a eye thing is in there.
