Why isn't Goose able to post decent emoticons like us ?

I have often wondered this myself. I see the :d or its variant, the ;d , with some frequency.

No it doesn't work in MSN too. I think he just love confusing people. Or may be creating his own langugae, which he gonna used when he become a king. 8)

Maybe Goose is a internet veteran like me, who knows that smilies existed long before any "emoticons" were invented.
