how fitting...

Here's a question, the booklet on the TLFR DVD has these lyrics for Last Man Standing ...

"Keep your psudo punk hip hop POP ROCK junk" yes yes he changed it for the performance whatever.... heres my real question,..... What on earth is Misunderstood, Everyday or It's My Life.... wouldnt At least one of those songs be considereg POP-ROCK?

Jim Bon Jovi 04-07-2004 09:32 PM

not every lyric has to have a profound thought out meaning.

DaveyShoes 04-07-2004 09:56 PM

Yeah, I think Jon has been a little careless with that lyric. Most of Bon Jovis recent work fits firmly into the pop rock mould.... even if it hasn't been junk.

i think that lyric is pretty straight forward, and Jon admitted he was pissed at the music business, so i take it at face value.

Jim Bon Jovi 04-07-2004 11:36 PM

I meant that not every single word needs to have a distinct meaning.

i doubt he sat down and thought wait a minute we've gone a bit pop rock so I can't have that line in there.

i wouldnt classify IML as pop rock, the other two maybe, everyday perhaps. anywya a big discussion about it is around below i think....and i agree with jim, ppl sometime take things so rigidly.

Question:
Where can I find the lyrics for 'Last man standing' since they are not included in the german version of the TLFR DVD?
asked by Janie on Sunday, April 4, 2004
Answer:
The European manufacturing plants had deadline issues and in order to make release date, opted for a different insert - therefore, the standard inside booklet which has the lyrics included were not included in most European markets. If you go to the main page of this site (the denim jacket with the pins) click on the pin for THIS LEFT FEELS RIGHT. And there, under LYRICS link, are the lyrics for LAST MAN STANDING and THIEF OF HEARTS. Yes, yes, we know, we know... TECHNICALLY, they're not on the CD but they ARE on the DVD so, there you go.

There is a lyric sheet in the plastic case issue of the DVD. If you bought the digipack issue the sheet is missing.
