The REAL reason i stay here...
 

I was just over at backstage and it's incredible some of the stuff i am reading. i simply cant understand where some of these people get off acting like they are making a difference in the world through shallow, stupid posts about nothing. Not only can i not deal with that, but i really do feel that most if not ALL of the topics we discuss over there would get deleted. now i know that there are people loyal to both sites but it really makes me have no regret in my decision NOT to join the fan club. I would rather pay double the ticket price to get seats where the fan club sits just to have my money go ANYWHERE ELSE other than that group of people. It's starting to make me wish that the record company/band would have taken it over and shut some certain people up.

I feel exeactly the same...I'm not a member of backstage for the same reasons...

also i don't like the name backstage with jbj....i'm a bon jovi fan not a jbj fan...

besides, sometimes what they wrotte, it sounds likje some crazy fanatics...

anyway, it's just my opinion.

same here. That's why i'm NEVER joining the fanclub. They're topics there are so boring!

I think the fanclub and the board are 2 seperate things.

I agree. I am in the fanclub, but that doesn't mean I have to associate with those people. I have been visiting that board less and less because both the moderation and the topics are getting worse. Not all of them are like that though, there are sane ones that don't talk about Jon's a** and all that other nonsense.

That's right.I don't think you can judge all the people who are Backstage members based only on a bunch of female fanatics that are obssesed about Jon and post over there.There are lots of great people there,too.Anyway, most of us are members only for the wristbands :lol:

I must admit that's why I'm a member too :oops: I have been a member of Backstage since 1993 and have thought about quitting it for a long time, because it doesn't give me anything... Besides the wristbands of course :wink: . The magazine is boring and the layout on the website is just terrible... I tried joining the message board overthere, but when I got my access code I couldn't log on anyway, so I thought to h*ll with it... And most of their topics are not very interesting anyway...

We probably have just as many members of BWJBJ fanclab on this site as Backstage board has on that site.

Don't judge people just because you read the bswjbj board...
I mean I'm a member too, and don't tell me you think I'm the same as they are :P Hehe...
I think most of the people are only members for the wristbands, and to say that you won't be a member because of the board, that is your problem, but don't say all the members are like that, cause they ain't!!!
