Being a Sickofantic BJ fan ?

What do you class as being a BJ sickofantic fan? (Someone who shows extreme excess fan behaviour ).

Someone aske me this the other day and I had never thought about it before.

Can you have to many pictures, watch to many videos, what would someone class as to many ?

i thought that 'sickofantic' meant someone who accuses people without reason, false accusation. at least that is what it means in greek. is it a completely other word?

I wasn't sure when I read this if you meant "sicko fanatic" or sycophantic since either could apply to fans.

I think it takes fanatacism to the extreme if a person lets being a fan rule their life like going into debt and hurting personal relationships for the sake of another concert or whatever.

Different persons could give you diferent answers, like when I saw the fan club show on Vh-1 way back when it aired I remember this woman lighting a candle and actually talking (or praying or something) to a picture of Jon.Like he was God or something, That to me is a little to the extreme, and a bit sick but another person could tell you it's normal.

That's what I consider a sickofanatic. That is wrong on so many levels.

I think for example if someone is young and their bedroom is covered completely in BJ pics this can be considered normal.

If the person then becomes 30 and has the same room covered in pictures this would then be seen as sickofantic.

Perhaps the girl with Jons photo was praying to God for Jons safety ? Does sound extreme, but sometimes young people pick a subject to fix on singer to horses whilst they are developing.

So it's wrong to "pray" to someone who is real, but no-one seems to think it's wrong or weird to pray to some almighty power from above that has never given us any proof it exists?

I'm not religious at all, so I consider praying in any form a waste of time and weird, but if someone wants to pray to "God" or even to Jon then it doesn't bother me, let them do what they want.

The people I'd consider sad, not sick but sad, are the kind of people who collect things like celebrity hair clippings or stupid things like that, or maybe even people who collect things like singles and things for the sake of having a complete collection, not always because they want to listen to the music.

do you go on other bands messageboards?

Someone might see visiting here on a daily basis or in some cases more than once a day being sickofantic.
