these days 1995
everybody say BJ in 1995 were not in a good mood and the lyrics of their album TD seems to prove t....but what is happened?why they were in that mood? just few years back they re-joined the band had a great success worlwide with KTF and a GREATER SUCCESS with crossroad and always....richie married heather and jon became father again....so what's wrong with them?they were at the top again

No, the band was feeling good. They have stated this many times; they were feeling really positive and thought they were making a "happy" album. The result surprised them totally. At least that's what they say. Jon has said it would be interesting what a psychologist would say of the paradox.

yeah Im sure they were perfectly happy at that point of time and I think it's a more depressing album because it just worked out that way. I guess when they started writing, each song just led on to the next and a theme just sort of came out of nowhere...
I'd like for the next album they should go back to darker BJ and move away from these happier songs. Not that there's anything wrong with them but I sort of hope the first single of the next album is not another 3-4 minute rock song about why I should live my life to the fullest. |
They were battling subconscious demons. :?:
They say they don't know why they wrote what they wrote because at the time they thought they were pretty happy. LOL Becky |
well I saw an interview from a concert in 95 and Jon seemed very pissed off in general...

I think they were feeling good as they say. Maybe they just got more mature & serious and writing more serious & deep songs, wich also started a bit on KTF compared to the earlier album
After that they thought that didnt work quite well (crush & bounce) .. but the oppossing has been proved (IMO) as they suck now |
I think these days was their finest moment. As an album coming straight from the Crossroads stuff, it had appeal to fans old and new. hopefully another these days will grow out of TLFR!
