Describe each BJ album in a few words
Simple enough, anything between one word to a single short sentence to describe each BJ album. And BTW, all the people who put TLFR as "shit" or whatever, gain some originality before you try the jokers, yah?
Keep On Rockin' |
Bon Jovi : Promising Start, Now Dated
7800: Going Backwards SWW: Big Album, Delivers The Goods NJ: Such An Improvement On SWW KTF: Fresh Sound, Same Quality TD: Different, but good Crush: Back to basics is needed Bounce: Potential TLFR: Wasted chance, poxy drum machines. |
Bon Jovi : Unoriginal (except for Runaway)
7800: Sounds like all other "hair" band garbage SWW: Breaks the mold with the Big 3 songs, others are average NJ: Timeless, fun rock and roll KTF: Slowly sliding into a new era, still fun, but now trying to be more than just rock TD: Personal Rock Crush: Lots of fun, but not the same band musically Bounce: The rock rocks, the ballads blow TLFR: WTF? If "It's My Life" didn't sound so good, I might actually use this CD to wipe my ass. (btw - this was a fun topic!) |
Bon Jovi : just kind of there
7800: like above, nothing special SWW: classic, brings back memories even on the first listen NJ: carefree, rock n roll at its best KTF: a step forward TD: full of emotion Crush: a step back Bounce: an improvement from Crush TLFR: really not that bad, minus a few songs |
Bon Jovi: Hopefull begining
7800: Unoriginal, only a couple good songs. SWW: A big leap from 7800 NJ: A true classic of good ol rock n roll KTF: Starts off a more serious era for Bon Jovi, but still great rock TD: The more intimate side of Bon Jovi with lots of feeling Crush: A fun fresh sound to start off a new century Bounce: less feeling, not great but good TLFR: shows the experimental side of the band and that they have the balls to rework their classic songs. |
Bon Jovi: rocks
7800: rocks SWW: rocks NJ: rocks KTF: cool TD: ok Crush: shit Bounce: shit TLFR: shit |
Bon Jovi : breaking through
7800: hanging there, nothing speical SWW: classic, made them what they are NJ: best 80's rock album KTF: amazing, wonderful, nothing can describe fully :D TD: amazing, wonderful and very emotioanly wonderful :P Crush: good album, but no compare to other best Bounce: good rock album except few songs TLFR: i really like of the version of some songs, not bad overall. |
A very good topic :)
Bon Jovi : Come on get ready ... for what's to come 7800: there was a hunger burning in the heart of their souls SWW: can't stop a fire burning out of control NJ: the fire's feeling really good with this album KTF: "people thought o-oh, Jon's lost his mind... cut his hair and lost his mind" TD: something for the pain in the mean time Crush: havin' as much fun as I can in my clothes whilst listening to this one Bounce: they are bouncing back again TLFR: "left turn"... could've been really good, with maybe a steeper left turn? |
1st: Fresh. Innovative.
7800: Rocks. Rocked back then, and still rocks. suffers from bad production SWW: selling their souls to allmighty radioplay. few great tunes saves it from being all cheesy NJ: More of the same. Less rock & more cheese. Again, few great tunes saves the day. KTF: Back into rocking track. Taking some time off did them some good, similar influence on me as the debut; sounds fresh. TD: Complete bullshite. trying to be serious & failing miserably. Crush: Pop. catchy, but still just pop. not bad not good, overall very listenable. Bounce: Yet more pop, this time with little bit of rock-spice. Have to admit though, they do pop way better than being serious. TLFR: Left turn? more like goddamn dead end. Birth of a Las Vegas freakshow. and ok, ok, OWN: Sorry excuse for a live album. should have never been released. CROSSROAD: cashing in, nothing more than grabbing a quick buck. |
Stonedeaf, very interesting and original views you've got there. Plus said very well. That was very interesting to read :)
