Jon sold Viper to Kiss 108 Contest
 

Clarify if you could, do not live in the area but someone posted on BSWJBJ that a local MASS. radio station is having a contest that is giving away Jon's Viper as the prize? out of curiousity went to site, nothing listed under contests..this person said that it was confirmed by the dj's on air, however, nothing on radio website..thanks and you guys/gals rock!!

100% true. Jon Bon Jovi's black 2000 Dodge Viper GTS was sold to KISS 108. KISS 108 is giving it away as a grand prize this summer. It is 100% authentic. It's really Jon's personal car. Also included in the grand prize will be a full catalogue of Bon Jovi cds autographed. We're not sure of exactly how it works but we believe when listeners hear a Bon Jovi song n KISS 108 they call in... a certain caller wins a KEY. One of those keys starts the Viper. If the winner has the key that starts the car, they win the car. This is real - Jon even did a radio spot for it (and a video that was to air at the KISS 108 concert as well.) He filmed it at the Philadelphia Soul game he attended last weekend.

Why cant they do comps via BSWJBJ/BJ.com that way at least the band would know personal items would go to fans.

Just out of curiosity once, a friend of mine rang several insurance companies to find out how much it would cost to insure a newly qualified, 17-year-old driver as the second driver of their parents Dodge Viper (his parents didn't actually have one, it was just for a laugh!)

All but one wouldn't even offer a quote and the one that did said £12 000 a year!!! Ha! :shock: :D
