Are the guys in Bon Jovi really that down to earth and nice? Or is that just an act? Because even though I LOVE them, they come across as jerks sometimes.

The band are horrible, evil ogres. The sacrific small farm animals on the weekends and keeps a small tribe of children as personal slaves. They wear clothing made of baby seals pelts and koala fur. They buy barrels of oil and burn it, just to watch th price of gas go up and up and up in the states. They have a magic machine that causes all sorts of geological and meteoroligcal and mechanical events - those tornadoes in the midwest? Bon Jovi's fault. The collapse of the airport terminal in Paris Bon Jovi's fault. The voting debacle on American Idol. Bon Jovi's fault. You see what you want to see. You believe what you need to believe.

It was meant as a direct reference to the fact that gas prices have been through the roof here lately. Probably the highest they have been in quite a long time, hence the reference to it.
