My brother and I have decided to go to Las Vegas for our holiday and I can't wait!

It's not until january tho (time to save up gambling money!)

Any of you been there? What are the best palces to visit, things to do?

I wanna go right now, I'm sooooo excited!

I was there a long long time ago with my ex, so I don't have very fond memories of the place. We stayed at the plaza and it was really nice. I am not a gambling person, so all I did were the slot machines at the grocery store :oops:

However, if I'd go again, I'd gamble and drink and see a ton of shows. I am sure you'll have a blast.

Just don't get married :wink:

Also, rent a car and explore the desert - it is pretty cool to see. We pulled into LV at night coming from the desert - you go through the mountains and all of a sudden - boom - lights everywhere amidst nothing. Really really cool.

I'm gonna be there this summer, just less than 11 weeks! :D So looking forward to it! It must be so different than any other city I've ever been to... Anyway, obviously I'm counting down the days already ;)!

Must Visits:

Fremont Street (after dark)
Fountains of Bellagio
Stratosphere Tower
The Venetian (shops)
The Grand Canyon
Siegfried and Roys Garden (can't remember the name of it)

If you have time:

MGM Grand and the Rainforest Cafe
The Legends show in the Imperial Palace
Harrahs has some top top live bands on

Don't bother with:

Circus Circus
The one that looks like an egyptian pyramid

Of course there is loads more. How long are you going for? Have you booked? If you are on a budget Harrahs is a great hotel in a superb location. If you aren't on a budget stay in the Bellagio or if you like lazing around a pool, the Mirage has the best swimming pool area you have ever seen!

If you wanted to make it a longer trip you could take a short flight to San Diego, which I would highly recommend for a few days! PM me if you have any more questions on this.

I don't like gambling at all but I must admit that I've always felt very curious about Las Vegas! I'm sure you'll have a great time. It sure is a 'different' place to go! :)

LoL I heard yesterday there is a wedding every 5 minutes there ! :o

my dad lives there, Im going next year.

You can go and see where Jon and Dot got married , if you like that sort of thing.

Its a really busy place, theres loads to do.
