the sad state of society
 

I dunno man this kinda gets me down at times.

So download was full of fairly young kids yesterday. Im standing next to one girl that must be about 13 or 14 and I had to seriously consider if I should ask her if she was having a good time and who she was there to see incase of what people would think my intentions were.

Its a shame that people are worried about being nice nowadays.

Yeah it has got a bit over PC.

A women at work was talking about her husband. She said that he is frightened to even go into his daughters bedroom, when she has her friends over, just in case he gets accused of anything.

I actually got talkign to the girls dad and he agreed. I was like I hope you don't mind me talkign to her and he wa slike nah she's not exactly wanting to spend the whole day talkign to me and I was telling him that I started going to gigs when i was 11 and there was always people to talk to y know now everyones to uptight and worried about it an dhe agreed.

I guess people are just scared nowadays to be branded a pervert or something. I remember reading this article about guys who felt uncomfortable changing their daughter's nappies or bathing them, I think that is quite sad that guys have to fear do natural things with their children or that people actually think it weird that a guy bathes his baby daughter!

I remember when I was little and my dad took myself and my 2 younger brothers swimming. We thought it was cool to try and dunk him and use him as a climbing frame in the pool, but he wouldn't let us because of what people around might think. It's sad when you can't even laugh and play in a pool because narrow-minded people might raise an eyebrow or read into innocent fun!

My brother's exwife took him to court once because she said he was not alowed to change her diapers or bathe her. It was unbelievable, his own daughter!!
Fortunately the judge reply was something along the lines of "if we prohibit the father's from changing or bathing their daughters we must prohibit the mothers from changing or bathing their sons" it was funny to witness.

I guess world lost incocence completly. :?

heh you think you got it bad, as well as TA/OTC Im currently attatched to the Army Cadet Force, teaching em stuff.. big book of massive rules. Not allowed to go into a room with a female cadet unless theres a female member of staff there etc, if a female cadet falls over I cant help them etc etc

when i was in year 6 (about 6 years ago) my teacher told the class that if anyone fell over theyd have to pick themselves up cos of a rule that teachers cant pick up kids that fall over in the playground, or comfort them if they got hurt when they fell by giving em a hug, cos it could be misinterpreted as sexual.

whereas at the same time: kids in primary schools now have to be shown whats written about them in their report cards and sign saying they agree....

the teacher can't help them in any way but has to get their permission to say what they think about the kid?

it's ****ing madness, no wonder the place is going to shit.
