Shout
I've been asking around- thought I might askl here too
when and why did the band choose to perform "shout" and kind of adopted it- they perform it almost evrey show (considering it's a 60's Isley Brothers song)? *don't get me wrong- Jon gives a hell of a performance with that song |

I agree with Dawn. The first time I heard it (early 90's maybe?) I said "cool" I remember that song from the 60's. But now I say - not again - please sing something different.

sorry but i disagree with all of you. i love when they play shout with bad medicine, it seems like it is a Bon jovi song! But for the next tour they should forget some songs that they have played for years (Just Older or Saturday Night) and play some rare stuff like Homebound Train or Tokyo Road, that would be awesome!

From what I know they started performing it frequently on the Keep the Faith tour. They may have done a version or two before that but i'm not sure.
If I'm wrong please correct me. |
Mmmm.... I agree with you in the part that some songs should be removed, but I don't agree with the ones you wish they take off. Saturday night was improved with the "I'm alive" part and Just older has been played only for 2 tours.
Maybe "Bad name" and "Bad medicine" should rest at least for a tour. A concert without "I'll sleep when I'm dead" would be fantastic. "Next 100 years", "One wild night", "I'd die for you", "Dry county" and "Good guys don't always wear white" should be removed from forgetness. |

I still love it when they play it live, maybe they shouldn't play every evening but from time to time it would be nice. I'd rather hear "Shout" 100 times than "misunderstood" one time.
I guess they won't ever play any demo song, they don't have the courage to play a song 90% of the audience don't know. what I really would love would be a show only with 80's stuff, would be so great!!! |
