What period of history would you live in?

If you could live in any other time from throughout history, when would it be and why?

Personally I would love to have lived in medieval times in a huge castle (not a poor little peasant in a hut!)

Going to jousting tournaments and medieval feasts, court jesters and all that! Sounds like fun to me!

I wish I was born at 1970 (or between 2 years after or before), so when BJ was at their highest point, I would go and see them.

I am quite happy having lived when I have - basically from the birth of rock and roll to the present. I wouldn't have missed any of it :D
(I know - I know - I sound like Pollyanna - but I really mean it)

I am happy to be living in my time.

But if given the choice I would love to live at the time of middle earth and be a hobbit living in the shire.
other than that no other time.

I really love the age which I currently live in, but Iv often thought about how much I would have enjoyed living in the 70's and 80's to be honest.

The 70's were famous for Abba and The Bee Gee's and general disco music and everyone always raves about how good it was. Im not sure I couldnt be pursueded to wear flares, but everything else looks great!

The 80's, in my eyes were great because of the music, i would have loved to have been around for Bon Jovi SWW and NJ era's, the tours were fantastic from what Iv heard and im really dissappointed that I never got to see the band in my home town, they only played here In Liverpool once in November 86. Music aside, I would have loved to have seen Everton successfull, challanging for the league and FA cup each season. That all seems like a distant dream at the moment, so I would have loved to have been around in the 80's and old enough to know whats going on. :)
