Box Set
 

If what I'm about to say has been posted already I apoligize. My friend was reading a Toronto newspaper the other day and there was an interview with Richie. He was discussing the box set. He stated that it would be about 3 CD's of unreleased material, and not the greatest hits. Alright! Now I'm really excited because I personally own very few demos and b-sides. The article didn't mention a release date. Would be smart of them to release it around Christmas for good sales.

I think the Box Set topic has been talked about quite extensively on this site. Theres a lot of rumours flying about what might be on it, but no-one knows for sure. Release dates seem to be up in the air due to record company problems aswell. I'm like you, I don't own many demos other than whats been put out on U.K singles and the likes...hopefully there'll be a whole bunch of stuff on there that has never been released before. i'd like to hear Tracks that they recorded and talked about in press such as 'In My Dreams,' 'Letter to a Friend' and the band version of Sambora's 'Rosie' to name a few...I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Well now that we've got a new thread on it: What's currently the hottest rumour about the release date? A friend of mine asked me about and I'd like to tell him a date or something.

Bon Jovi is considering releasing a boxed set featuring four albums worth of material that fans have never heard, Billboard.com reported Monday.

Guitarist Richie Sambora said there's no timetable for the project.

The band first hopes to solidify its relationship with the new leadership at its label, Island Def Jam, he said..

We're going to see about the boxed set when (new president Antonio L.A. Reid's) new regime comes in and if they get it, Sambora said. We're hoping it's going to be great.

Again Freddie, I DID SAY Iapoligize if this was written before. What is with some of you people? Always ready to make annoying comments or rolling of the eye responses. Is this a BJ board or a critize board? I thought I'd share what I heard, whether it is 'nothing new' or not. I hadn't heard before that the box set was supposed to be just unrealeased material, that is why I posted this.

Thanks for sharin' what you heard. I know what you mean about the little sarcastic coments and digs, sadly that's just the way this board is.
