sorting together my setlist for the DJ slot im doing on sunday and just wondering if anyones got any cool ideas or reqests for songs.

its going to be mainly indie-brit-classic rock so ive got pretty much everything from the smiths to big country to radiohead to iggy pop to kiss and a few surprises here and there.

The only Jovi song Ill get away with will be livin on a prayer and I doubt ill even have time to fit that in. Im only going to be able to spin 60 tunes.

Jim, i work as a DJ, i always finish my set with shout/twist and shout and living on a prayer, the first 2 are a sort of homage to the jovi guys the last is blatantly obvious!!! but it drives the crowd wild, also i put daydream believer on at the end of the night, they all sing there hearts out

btw dont you think playing Radiohead might just make everyone depressed at a party??? :D

with the exception of girls and boys and the farm all of them are getting played Carli.

It's not a party it's a clubnight so I need to play stuff everyone will dig and I cant play too many party tunes ala sweet caroline etc...

radiohead are fantastic. Going to try and get the bends in and Idioteque is going to finish off my dancey section.
