In their only New York City appearance this summer, the
Dave Matthews Band will play Radio City Music Hall on
July 8th. The concert, a benefit for presidential candidate
John Kerry, will also feature Mary J. Blige, Jon Bon Jovi,
Wyclef Jean and John Mellencamp, as well as special guests
including Sarah Jessica Parker, Whoopi Goldberg and

I sure am - next week. Dave Matthews wasn't in the original linup but he is now so I am extra happy. I became a fan last Christmas when I went to one of his concerts with my son because no one of his age (24) would go with him and listen to THAT kind of music :shock:

I am chicken to record under normal circumstances but do you know what the security will be like at Radio City Music Hall with Kerry there? I'm lucky they will let ME in. I was at this same event 4 years ago (before 9/11) with Gore and Lieberman present and the security was insane then. I don't think I have seen so may cops and their dogs in one place since the 60's. I'm assuming it will be even worse now (and I'm not looking forward to that part).
