Would you

Would you sleep outside a venue to get to the front of a Bonjovi concert?

Sambo-Chris 07-02-2004 01:29 PM

Not for that reason. I slept out once in Munich 2001 but the reason was that I didn't want to pay another night in a hotelroom. It was the only time I made it. It's nice to get front row once in a while but it's not that important for me. Last year we were up to 15 people touring together and we most of the times stood in the back of the pit where we for sure had at least the same fun as beeing front row. I made front row once last year but without sleeping in front of the venue. There weren't that many fc-members in that city so it wasn't that difficult to get into the front 2 rows.

Beside that the view from the back of the pit is even better than front row since you see every band member equally good and not just the one who stands right in front of you.

I've done it many times, but not only to be front row, but to share the experience with friends. I remember we spent the night at Hyde Park talking and laughing. That's one of the best things about touring with friends :D
And as Chris said, it's cheaper so you save money!

Hey, you've been lucky with that decision...do you remeber the weather the night of the show? What a storm...! :)

No, I've never slept out of a venue and I won't.

choclady 07-02-2004 03:06 PM

yes, it's fun

joviangel92 07-02-2004 03:22 PM

Yes, but not because of the front row reason (I´m not one of those who only enjoying BJ shows when they´re in front row  ) but the fun ~ last year was always fun there 8)

Sara 07-02-2004 04:02 PM

no! never!

oh wait a sec... I did that last year didn't I?  I always said I would never do something like that ever, but last year I only could get a ride the night before the concert and it was a very last-minute decision, so I just had to spend the night outside - it was really fun though! :D

hehehehehehe Sara you liked it yes???
To answer the question: YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS every time every venue and always.Though I didn`t sleep outside for 2 shows this tour. Once in Barcelona cause I had a late flight, and once in mannheim cause i was too tired and needed a good night sleep

But next tour I sure will
