Favourite Bon Jovi DVD/Video

Which Bon Jovi Video/DVD release is your absolute favourite for whatever reason, cause they do seem to have a very diverse videography altogether (except for the DVD's :( )

My favourite has got to be New Jersey: The Videos, cause it has the vid for IBT4U and the interviews with the band are funny.

I've not seen them all yet, I'm still missing Breakout, SWW Videos, and the 2 KTF vidz.

New Jersey: The Videos / Access All Areas

Keeper 07-19-2004 07:44 PM

You precisely missed out my favourites: Live in London and TLFR... can't vote now :?

Rina 07-20-2004 03:30 PM

Access All Areas is the best!
Wish they would do something like it again :usa

Dave 1986 07-20-2004 03:45 PM

Sorry people, I accidentally clicked "submit" instead of "add" and then my comp decided to crash  , but I've added all the rest now

Please keep voting! :D

Keeper 07-20-2004 07:31 PM

I voted for TLFR now. If only because it's the newest and I do like it a lot! 8) :D

Aidan 07-21-2004 11:32 AM

I don't know, because I like KTF: An Evening With BJ, TLFR and Live From London in a same way :o So I didn't vote

faitheveryday1984 07-27-2004 12:56 AM

TLFR for right now. I've been watching it a lot, and have LMS on repeat.

It was released on Laserdisc.

Mr Bluesman 07-27-2004 11:37 PM

Live From London is my favourite by far.

Jovi-obsession 08-03-2004 06:03 AM

I voted for New Jersey Access All Areas. It's my favorite for purely nostalgic reasons:

1. New Jersey is my favorite album.

2. The New Jersey tour was the first Bon Jovi concert I ever went to and the video for Lay Your Hands On Me is almost identical to the show I saw, so it's like a hard copy of my memory of the concert.

3. It shows the boys in their hair band era :D

4. That is the album that reminds me of some of the best times of my life. New Jersey was always brought along for trips down the shore, to Great Adventure, Ocean City. Remembering how my friends and I used to open all the windows and blast Bon Jovi the entire length of the Garden State Parkway, singing along at the top of our lungs, never fails to make me smile.

KTF!

Crush tour!

cherryrockcandy 08-03-2004 02:49 PM

I still love ALL ACCESS....

FLAME-XIII 11-27-2007 07:49 PM

live @ london 95

TheseDays2005 11-27-2007 07:55 PM

definitaly London, still too short.
I really like An Evening with, that was the VHS that turned me into a fan.

zero_zero_UFO 11-27-2007 09:49 PM

definately live in london for me. some amazing performances. and i like that they kept the bit about knocking wacko jacko off number one in there :)

I'm very curious, how on Satan's name can you put the Crush DVD before the London DVD?

Bounce7800 11-28-2007 01:01 AM

Live From London by absolute miles. Totally gutted that I wasnt obnoxious enough to my parents to get me tickets to what would have been my first ever gig. Still an amazing gig that I will watch whenever it turns up on VH1 despite seeing it a million times.

DevilsSon 11-28-2007 01:16 AM

Access All Areas closely followed by Live From London - although Live From London reaches its peak way to early, with Always. Then you wait for something better to come but nothing comes. They should've kept Dry County on.

Access All Areas is in my opinion the most rocking release in the history of Jovi. That's pure rock 'n' roll spirit from the guy in the Iron Maiden tshirt in the opening scenes to the crowd in Guadalajara...amazing!

exaclty just because Live in London is too short they never released a proper Live DVD imo.

And can someone explain to me why Live in London was so damn short, surely more songs could be on it even on VHS.
That the worst decision they ever made, even worse then TLFR or OWN.

Its even more annoying given that they have re-released it a few times too like on those re-packaged Crossroad packs, and still not added anymore. A few bonus tracks and Id have had it like a shot.

I'm not sure but I think Obie once said they don't have permission to use the masters of the Live From London concert because it was made by the BBC and not by them, which is why they've never re-released the full package. The band is aware that there is a big demand for this show, but isn't capable of releasing the full show.

At least, that's the excuse the Bon Jovi camp came up with when a petition for this show started 4 years ago or something.

Sebastiaan

If only this board would allow me to switch off your ridiculous and contemptuous conclusions and would only show your appreciated knowledge.

If only one of your nipples would be a button which people could use to turn off your "bash Seb" obsession, you'd be a one nippled freak. So there, Captain Nipple, I mean *ºÇåptäîn¤Ŋ¡ρρlеº*.

You have fantasies... Sorry, I'm not interested, just like Jon.

Dave 1986 11-30-2007 05:14 PM

Wow I think this is the first time anyones every resurrected one of MY old threads. It's usually me doing it to other peoples!

ANyway, I've since purchased them all in some way shape or form (old VHS' and bootleg DVD's) and I would say New Jersey: The Videos stillflies high for me as it carries many memories from when I first saw it. I love Access All Areas still and I really like KTF The Videos. It has the video for If I Was Your Mother which is awesome, and it's just a well produced product all round.

Id Die 4 you 11-30-2007 05:43 PM

The live from london did have some sound problems, for instance on dry county richies guitar drops out in the first chorus. The other nights sound quality is simply atrocious in parts. With only the drums being audible. I dont think this is what the audience could hear but rather the the output to whatever they were recording to for the video.

daftkast 12-01-2007 07:26 AM

My favourite is "Access all areas", think its brilliant love the fact you get to see what its like for the band during the tour. Love all the banter between the band and obviously love the soundtrack.

Second Favourite has to be "Live From London"

and Third would be "An Evening with Bon Jovi"

Like most other people, still dont know why they havent rereleased An Evening with or Access all areas on DVD. Would love a copy if anybody has managed to transfer video to DVD.

Mr. Saturday Night 12-01-2007 10:13 PM

My favorite is Keep The Faith: The videos. Seeing videos to I Wish Everyday Could Be Like Christmas, Dyin' Aint Much Of A Living and Ballad Of Youth (in addition to the KTF stuff) is awesome and those are pretty rare to find videos on TV.

NJ: Access All Areas, An Evening With Bon Jovi and Live In London are next.

dianebonjovi 12-01-2007 10:57 PM

My fav is Access All Areas.

I'm planning to buy myself a dvd recorder for Christmas and was hoping to transfer my BJ videos to dvd. Are the videos copy-protected?

SamboraQueen21 12-01-2007 11:44 PM

Access All Areas just slightly above Live From London. I think i can recite the entire AAA by heart i've watched it so many times....

I've transferred NJ: The Videos, AAA, KTF: The Videos, and Cross Road VHS's onto DVD via a DVD recorder and they worked perfectly. No copy protection. :D

I bought a superb quality DVD of An Evening With... just over 2 years ago off ebay for less than £10. The DVD was ripped from a laserdisc. I'd never seen the vid before so it was well worth the money for me. It'll do untill (and IF)they release an official DVD of it.

I thought that was just for the boot dvd that wasn't released officially? I've certainly got that one, and it messes with your head, but I haven't ever seen it on an official release

You're correct, Mongoose. The quality of the official DVD is quite good, but unfortunately, it isn't the full concert.
