Miljoonarock and Bon Jovi
 

First a little background on Miljoonarock: This guy, lives in the middle of nowhere in central Finland, established what is now the second biggest department store in Finland, as I said, in the middle of nowhere. He's of course rich and influential, but he's also a big rock fan. And for some reason, for this guy nothing is impossible... He's the best businessman I've ever heard of, in the honest way.

Anyways, this year he decided to have a festival called Miljoonarock. He's been a huge Scorpions fan since he was small, and because no one else in Finland invited Scorpions for a gig, he did, and they're coming. Again, in the middle of nowhere!!!! So he got them booked, and built this festival around it, eg Leningrad Cowboys are playing there too.

Now he's said that he wants to continue the festival annually, and his plans are to get AC/DC and Bon Jovi there!!! It sounds far-fetched, but I have all faith in this guy, I'm sure if anyone can get Bon Jovi to Finland, he will do! Forget about EMA Telstar and Hartwall arenas, Bon Jovi will be playing in Finland in a 500 people village in the middle of nowhere when they next tour! :D

Sounds like a great guy! He's living his dreams... well he's rich enough to do so :wink: I hope for the Fins that it's going to happen. Sounds like an unique experience!

I wish someone like him we have india. :( But great news for u guys. :D

Until Bon Jovi actually go on tour he won't get them, no matter how much money he's got.

Having just seen the Scorpions less than a week ago, it's a wonder that nobody would invite them back, they were great! :o

When did I say that he'd get them off-tour??? :roll: Believe me, I do know the drill, and I never said that they'd come here when they weren't doing shows in other countries.

The thing is though that most people here aren't holding their hopes up for getting the band to come back, but if this guy says he wants them, he'll probably do it. Obviously on tour though!
