"Someday I'll Be Sat. Night" speech from Philadelp
 

Ok, so I finally got around to watching this concert that I received. It's a hot show.

Has anyone seen, or heard, the speech that Jon gives during Someday I'll Be Saturday Night?

He talks about how he came to see a show in Veterans' Stadium in 1978 and how he looked up on stage and saw something he wanted to be. He's got to be talkin' about Bruce Springsteen, right?! He goes on to say that he knows there's some 17 year old in the audience looking up at him and thinking the same thing. Cocky, but so right.

Not much else to say about it. I was at that concert and one of the reasons he was talking about it was because it was the last concert to be played at Veterans Stadium. He was kind of reminiscing about the stadium and when he first watched shows there. It was a nice mention before they tore it down.
