Richie in Glasses
 

When did Richie start to wear glasses?? I saw him at the graduation ceremony and I never realised he wore glasses and the camera makes him look like he has put on a fair bit of weight to!!

I don't think it was the camera, I think he is just getting a little thicker around the middle!! :wink:

Richie, Dave, Tico, and Alec all wore glasses since the 80's; they just use contact lenses. Someone will probably say that Jon wears glasses too, but this is a misconception based on his wearing "Dwayne Wayne" style flip-up shades in the AAA video.

Personally, I think guys can look very attractive in glasses (if they have a sense of style).

Jon wears glasses too. He said once that sometimes people ask him to put down his sunglasses when they meet him but he couldn't because the sunglasses are made how he needs them and without them he would be blind. And he wears glasses in the AAA-video. You can see that there are glasses and that the sunglasses (which he put up) are just in front of them.

Richie wears glasses for quite some time. There are older pics of him wearing them. I guess it has something to do with his spin in the eye but that's just a guess. He doesn't wear them in interviews or on stage but off stage he wears them. A pal of mine passed him once in 1998 where he wore glasses, too.

You know as good as I do that BJHQ has no idea about anything. Sorry, but I believe what Jon says himself and not what these guys say. They said to many wrong things in the past.

And I've also explained specifically to you about 100 times that the shades Jon was wearing in AAA are a style that was popular in the late 80's based on a sitcom character (Dwayne Wayne from A Different World, a Cosby Show spinoff), but you refuse to accept that and keep saying he was wearing real glasses in AAA.

I don't have anything against glasses. I wear glasses myself. I find that a lot of guys look better with glasses on than with them off. I just do not believe Jon wears persription glasses. Or if he does, it's a recent development. He was not wearing perscription glasses in the late 80's.
