John Shanks??!!Have Bon Jovi lost it definetly?

Well...Hillary Duff, Michelle Branch,Keith Urban???!!!

The most ROCK artist he worked with is probably Sheryl Crow.

I don't get what Bon Jovi are doing. One hand Jon says he's so exited about ROCKIN' and on the other hand he works with a POP producer.

It doesn't start very well I must say!

He's also worked with Jane's Addiction, SR-71, and Ozzy Osbourne, all of whom, I believe, rock harder than Sheryl Crow.

If that is the case, I'm sure someone will put out a bounty on Jon's head.

First of all, I don't consider Michelle Branch as pop. Secondly, I don't believe there is such a thing as a "pop" producer. Some producers do both rock and pop.

I thought Jon said right after TLFR that they'd do the next album with Pat Leonard.

What ever happened to the pre-Crush producers?

Jim Bon Jovi 08-26-2004 09:00 PM

well the one thing I will say si that production on pop records is usually pristine and that suits Bon Jovi IMO.

With regards to production, i think besides These days, Keep the Faith is great because it's very clean and straight forward as far as the production goes and is quite poppy in it's production.

It doesn't mean the songs are goign to be poppy.
