Think these guys might have been influenced by Bon Jovi?
 

I was thinking over some song lyrics by bands that could have had some influence by Bon Jovi. I'll post some lyrics here and highlight the Bon Jovi-like parts.

WTF are you on about? i read this about an hour ago and just assumed you were joking but i guess not.......... they use slight words that are in or are BJ songs, so the hell what?

where do you think BJ got them from in the first place? jon didnt exactly come up with the phrase "a bed of nails" did he?

The Blink 182 song I would agree with you, but knowing Blink, it would be merely as a joke or parody about BJ, but the others, no way. :?

slight MAYBE on the Blink song. The "Bed of Roses" reference has been around before the BJ song. Linkin Park, nope. nada.

LOL now this IS hilarious. I guess you can say that everyone ever putting a word "always" or "goodbye" into songlyrics is influenced by Bon Jovi.
