Hi there,
Did Jon Bonjovi ever give info or interviews about the lyrics he wrote
for young guns2 ? if so,where can i find them?
Great lyrics, especially santa fe & blaze of glory.

He did a major interview with Jeff Beck in Guitar for the Practicing Musician magazine back then at the time of it's release that basically covered everything about the making of the album.

I don't have it available with me as it is in storage and I wouldn't know where to find it otherwise. But for the most part.....it was a time when Jon was just churning it out artistically to the point where he didn't even stop to breathe and take it all in....so even he falls short at recognizing his work that came out at the time. He pretty much just associates the album with the movie so he tends to dismiss it at this point as nothing more than a forgettable soundtrack. Somehow he wound up deciding to resurrect Billy Get Your Guns for the Destination Anywhere tour. If only he had done the same for Santa Fe, a song that in one of the unauthorized biographies is named by the author as Jon's most critically acclaimed piece of work. I wouldn't disagree.

and what about Miracle...to me one of the best BJ song ever.

Hey, with the exception of You Really Got Me (and obviously Guano City), I'd like for him to have done the entire album live at one point or another and continue to draw various songs from it in the current live shows. Blaze of Glory is far from the only worthy song on the album.

I don't remember what he says regarding Miracle in that interview other than that he was quite happy with it.
