Yah. I have this fake one up in my room, it's usually not plugged in. I don't know why I keep it up all the time. Just a fan of x-mas cheer I guess.

There'll be a little button on your camera that looks like this http://www.kodak.com/global/images/e...nual/timer.gif and it allows you to set a timer, so you can put the camera down somewhere and move away. Also, there's probably one like this http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/P1/ZFLASHB.JPG which can turn the flash on and off for use in low light coniditions,
