heh, yeah, he had some strange habits. The funny part is however the fact that he is still praised as a hero in history manuals. He managed to protect what was then Wallachia from the Turks which makes people forget all the cruel things he's done (apparently, he killed over 100 000 peple...at that time that must have been a very significant part of the population).
Books do however have some sort of influence on babies. My mom was reading Dostoevsky while she was pregnant with me. I found out about this after reading 5 or 6 books by him. I just love that guy (and his characters are quite disturbed as well, to put it nicely)
