Geeze - New Jersey is NOT a chemical waste dump. Northeastern Jersey where I am is so green it makes your eyes hurt this spring and western New Jersey is all farms and out in the middle of nowhere. Then there is the Jersey shore where Brooke is which is different geologically but has pristine white beaches that half the world wants to come to (or it seems like it). Central New Jersey is very wealthy horse country. All this and the state is so small - don't believe the movies. Then there is the proximity to NYC and the music and plays and all the JOBS.
Do you think the weathy rock stars that live here would stay here if it was a dump?

I visited New Jersey in 2003 and I agree with you but there is apparently a very very old reputation of chemical waste dump about jersey I don't know why ....is it not justified at all ?
