Guns N' Roses - Bed Of Roses??

I don't know if anyone else has seen or knows what this is about, but when I was on KaZaA I found quite a few files called "Guns N' Roses - Bed Of Roses (Bon Jovi cover)." Like any other Bon Jovi and GNR fan I liked the sound of this so I downloaded the mp3. But it turned out to just be the original Bon Jovi track (from either Keep The Faith or Cross Road). So does anyone else know anything else about this? Or have a lot of people just got the two bands mixed up? :)

I guess they did, 'cause I really dont think that guns n' roses covered bon jovi. As far as I know they hated each other.

aragorn is right- bj and gnr were not the best friends- in fact i think bj hasn't done anything but axel rose doesn't like jon (there's an mp3 goin' around from any gnr concert when axel complains about bj and he ends up with 'bon jovi can suck my d***)

There are tons of songs on download sites that are not real. Like Bon Jovi-November Rain; or Bon Jovi-Summer of 69; or Bon Jovi-Cats in the Cradle. Be skeptical if it seems to odd to be true. On Sara's site (before it was shut down) she had a great list of Bon Jovi covers that had been done before. If it's been done, she probably knows about it.

Guns 'n Roses - Bed of roses? Don't think so... At least I've never heard about it. I can't really imagine GnR doing Bed of roses either... doesn't really match (except for the title maybe  ). Like JoshJovi said, you've got to be careful with the covers you find on the sharing programs. There are so many fakes.

Yeah, I realised this when I heard the mp3. It just got me wonderin' whether a cover had really been done (before the 'Bon Jovi can suck my d***' thing) and some people with the Bon Jovi mp3 thought this might have been it.
But obviously not. :)

This has nothing to do with your question, but the title of the topic reminds me of my senior prom. My date asked the DJs to play "Bed of Roses" for me, but the drunken idiots couldn't understand English, so they played Guns & Roses "November Rain" for me.

Well Becky. You have to see the positive things in life. You had a date and a song was played for you. Why do people always complain...

I really wasn't complaing, just relaying what I thought was a kind-of funny story. I'm sorry if it comes across as complaining. The DJs really were drunken idiots. They were under the impression that our prom theme was Van Halens' "Right Now," so they kept playing it over and over again, but it was not. Eh... maybe you had to be there to see the humor. They did everything wrong where the music was concerned.

I know you weren't complaining. I was kidding.
