I Need American Help...

Hey I'm goinig on a trip to the US early next week
I was planning on buying Richie's cd's there
(and BJ cd's I still don't have)
to your knowledge - are Richie's cd's in stock in stores- or will I have a hard time finding them?

I'll be in Major cities such as NYC and CA - (probably NJ too)
so if you have a specific store adress you can suggest
(any advice for good low prices...)

that will be great :D

most larger stores will have them
little mom and pop record stores probably will not
If you can find a CDWarehouse, they sell many used CDs and yu can probably get teh entire catalog for less than 100.00

Tower Records is a pretty good bet and you'll find that store both in NYC and Los Angeles. CD Warehouse, I've never heard of, I don't think you're going to find that store in either city.

NYC:
Tower Records
692 Broadway
New York, NY 10012

I also highly recommend checking out the following two Mom and Pop stores. Both are in the Village. I think you'll like what you find in the Bon Jovi section.

Generation Records
210 Thompson St
New York, NY 10012

Bleecker Music
239 Bleecker St
New York, NY 10012

Los Angeles:

Tower Records
8844 W Sunset Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90069

On the famous Sunset Strip, adjacent to Beverly Hills, where bands like Motley Crue, Poison, Ratt, Guns and Roses got started. There are many Tower Records all over Los Angeles county, this one is just the most central if you are doing the tourist spots. Honestly though, I find this particular area quite tired.

Amoeba Music
6400 W Sunset Blvd
Hollywood, CA 90028

Also on Sunset, but in the heart Hollywood. It's just a couple of blocks below Hollywood Blvd, where the Walk of Fame is. I highly recommend this store. It's huge. It's also newer. The area has been having a resurgence, so it has more life in it. Of course this had to happen only after I moved out of Hollywood after 7 years to Brooklyn, NY.

You might also want to look in used CD shops if you see any. I found a copy of SITT still in the shrink wrap in a used CD store--I got a brand new disk for less than $5 which beats paying $18 any day!

I got a Richie CD at my local Best Buy. Best Buy is a chain, so you're bound to see one around, at least. Just don't try looking in a Target (another chain). They may claim to have Jon and Richie's solo CDs (got that info form the BJ Target CD), but they don't. I mean I was looking for Richie CDs in a Target once. They had Santana, they had, SInatra, they even had Saliva, but they didn't have Sambora.

thankyou for your advice
Hope to write back if I'll find them...

sorry for giving erroneous info, I used to own a few CDwarehouse locations in my state and they are a nationwide chain, but I didn't realize that many locations in different parts of the country had changed names locally.
Sorry again
