Okay. Maybe my math is off but this is what I got. The majority of the tracks:
10 come from 1992. 11 come from 1994, and 10 come from 1999. hmmm. I assume the ones from 99 are crush demos, and the '94 ones are These Days demos, but what of the 92 ones? Wouldn't Keep the Faith demos be for 1991? Actually, scratch that, Starting all over again is listed as '92. Answered my own question. |
So few 80s???

Question:
Billboard.com is mentionning the box set news and they added there the ERA of each of the 50 songs ... sorry to sound suspicious about informations not provided by you first .... so ... is it reliable ? thank you asked by mimi on Tuesday, October 5, 2004 Answer: Stay suspicous - it's not correct info. Don't bet your house on that info. answered by BON JOVI INFO HQ on Tuesday, October 5 , 2004 6:13 PM hmmmm |

hey thanx! i see many songs are taken from the keep the faith era. that's good :D . not so many 80s though.
|
hmm.. I really hope there are a lot more 80's songs on there than that info tells us... Sure Im not THAT fussed on the era of the songs providing they are good tracks, but there must be so many great Slippery and Jersey demos they could use.. To not include any of those doesn't make sense...
Im hoping that someone made most of those dates up! |
missing songs
what interests me is that there are so few songs from the 80's and yet there must be plenty of songs left over because I have a demo tape of the 'Slippery' sessions with lots of unused songs and then theres the 'New Jersey' double album songs that were left behind.
I was really hoping for some polished up versions of stuff like 'Now and Forever' and 'Rosie' - there are about 8-10 songs that were left of the 'Jersey' album - why are they not included? Can't complain about tracklisting though - lots more stuff than I would have though, just would have been the icing on the cake to include the 'Jersey' songs. Maybe they feel that most of us would have them already? |
