Hugh McDonald Booed in DVD
 

Hey guys,

I'm from Brazil and I just get the "This Left Feels Right" DVD. And I just don't understand when Bon Jovi was introducing the band members, then he introduced Hugh McDonald as bass player and some people in the audience booed him. Hugh and Jon started to laugh and then Jon said "As fun, as fun..."

So, why this kind of joke with Hugh McDonald? I don't get it.

Plus, I think Jon says "that's fun" or something like that because he actually doesn't introduce Hugh as Hugh, but as Huge McDonald :P

doesn´t he do that all the time he introduces him? think he also called him HUGE McDonald in every bj concert i've visited :wink:

I thought it was booing the first time I heard it, but the Oompas mentioned that they where all shouting Hugh, because as Martin2000 says Jon always introduces him as Huge McDonald, not just as Hugh.

Also, I never said this was the only instance where Jon called Hugh Huge :P

I was there... it was definitely "Hugh" not "Boo."

They wouldn't leave booing on the DVD, seen as everything was shot/edited to "perfection".
