Mugs.

Lately I seem to have developed a kind of mug frenzy :P And I was wondering what people's mugs have on them. Last weekend I bought a new Fido Dido one which I love. It's blue and has Fido Dido saying "Just don't do it" :D And it has his face in the inside too, so you see him appear as you drink.

I have a Yorkshire mug: blue, with the Yorkshire "logo" (a white rose)

Also a Garfield one, which I'm about to stop using before the drawing fades away. And a Basque Country one by a cool Spanish make called Kukuxumusu.

What about everyone else?

We have tons of them at home .... always surprising people because in France we don't use them so much usually.

My fave one is my Harley 100 anniversary. My son's is a one from The Tower of London, my daughter favourite is one with Winnie the Pooh (of course  ). I have some "nice ones" with cats. But the rest is just mugs we find here or there, or presents  for example one of my bro in law's band : "The Soul Traders", or one with something from Lao Tzu writen on it : "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, Teach him how to fish and you feed him for life". Or one from the Great Railway Center in Didcot.

But i'm sure if i look behind all these ones in my cupboard, i'd find others i forgot

We've got two with animal scenes on. Not like little-kid stuff, these look like miniature posters. One has a picture of pandas roaming a jungle on the moon. Weird. We've also got a set of Christmas mugs that we've had for about a decade, also a mug with a cockatiel on it, and another with a ladybug.

I have a dark-blue one with white white dasies on it :)
When I'm in Moscow I use to use one I have for about 10 years already.(my aunt bought it to me :P ) It's white with a very nice picture of tropical birds on it.

I used to be a mug-aholic and bought a mug in every city/state/country I was and for every other appropriate or unappropriate reason. I accumulated so many mugs, my ex gave me the 'no more mugs' speech and reminded me of it every chance he got.

Now, I've moved out and left him with all the stupid Irish mugs and anything I couldn't identify with anymore ---- meaning I've got room for more mugs :)

Lately, I like the artsy ones - handpainted and such....

Yeah, I was expecting my mum to complain about more mugs and how I'll never need them all (my excuse was having several in order to have back-ups for when others when dirty) but she liked it anyway.

What I buy at every place I visit and not only cities, but every single museum, venue, whatever, with a gift shop is a pencil and a bookmark. I have a huge collection by now but fortunately they are more easily stored than mugs :P

We have some with the Kubota logo and some that banks have given us. I have Christmas mug with cats on it and one that the Humane Society sent me with my name on it. That's the one I ought to bring to work, so everyone will keep their paws off it.
