How wrong was Ticketmaster?

We apologize for any excitement and then disappointment it caused fans, not to mention confusion! Again, TicketMaster's email is completely erroneous. TicketMaster has been notified and are aware of the mistake and are working to correct their sites to ensure that information is no longer disseminated. TicketMaster agents have also been briefed so that should any fans inquire into the alleged Bon Jovi concert, they'll have the proper information to assure fans there is no concert and it was all in error. Again, sorry for any confusion - we're just as baffled as you on this one!

BJ.com more or less confirmed that there will be a show in Atlantic City, only it's in November. Do you think TicketMaster knew these plans?

No, what I'm trying to say is that TicketMaster wasn't THAT wrong. There really is a BJ show coming up in Atlantic City.

That TM email refers to something that happened last year when TM listed a Jovi show well before last years's Borgata show was announced, which turned out to be entirely false. That email was sent in response to all the enquiries they received about it. It was well documented on another website and board
