The strangest thing that's ever happened to you...

Yet another slightly off-the-wall topic... What's the strangest thing that's ever happened to you? Ghost sightings, alien abductions, seeing odd things, strange conversations...what's the strangest thing that's ever happened to you?

Can't think of one particular thing right now, but I have on several occasions been driving in my car listening to one radio station, and then suddenly thinking, 'Uh, there's Bon Jovi right now on another station' -switch channels, and right I was... Very strange!

Love your sig quote BTW, that song is so beautiful

Once I drove my car and I had a very strange uncomfortable feeling, like something bad was going to happen. So I drove very carefully and not too fast and a few meters ahead there was a car crash right in front of me. Luckily nobody was seriously injured.

It's not a great story, but it felt really strange ;)

My friend bought a CD that was split down the middle.

OK, now about me. One day I went to get an interview for a job because my dad was at the store the previous night and heard that they were doing open interviews. When I got there, the guy I talked to said they weren't doing interviews. I wnt back in my car and turned on the radio. Then the radio played It's My Life (by Bon Jovi as opposed to No Doubt- now that's rare).

Come to think of it, a few months before I was going to a guitar lesson. When I got there I found out the lesson was canceled. Then I got back in my car and they played It's My Life (Bon Jovi again). Now I gotta tell you that Chicago radio sucks because they don't play enough Bon Jovi. Especially not It's My Life.

my band did a tv session one time in proper scooby doo fashion with this telly studio being an old mental home in the middle of nowhere.

we're sitting in the green room chatting to the presenter and i ask the presenter where the toilet is. she sends me upstairs so i go outside and see a sign pointing down the corridor. i hang my7 hea dback in and ask why she didn't send me to the one down thew corridor and she says it's haunted and not to use it.

i'm like no bother if im not back in 5 send the ghostbusters. anyways i walked into this toilet the room was SOOOOOO hot and humid and straight away the air went thick and heavy like you could actually feel the air around you and as if tyhere was electricity in the air. Not being one to run away fropm adversity i done my business and left the room and straight away the temperature went back to normal and everythign seemed fine again.

I'm not even goign to try and explain what it is but apparently alot of nasty stuff went on in the plac eback in the day with patients being beat to death or left for days on end and absolutely no one who works there would go into that toilet.

on a slightly similar noted. A guy i know who's in the music industry was describing a time when he was in abbey road and someone told him not to go into control room 2 on his own because it was haunted and he pretty much explained the exact same things that I experienced.

Don't know about ghosts or aliens, but one day I bought an EP and DVD by a texan band - while watching the DVD I see they are doing an interview in Scotland - turns out the guy doing the interview was JimBonJovi's brother.

roflmao.

I thought it strange indeed, though the accent was the strangest thing about it really.

LOL.

I don't know about strangest, but it was definitely funny...I am a supervisor at my job and one of the things I regularly do is check approvals on large orders. So one day, this cashier calls me to her register and tells me she needs me to approve this check. It was only for $12 and change. I questioned her why I needed to approve this and she said to check the names. The name on the check and ID said Karen but her membership card (I work in a retail membership warehouse) was for a David. So I asked the "lady" if her husband was here with her. She said that she was David. I answered "No, you're Karen. It says it right here on your drivers license". As I said this I really got a good look at "Karen". She answered that she was David, but now is Karen. That she had had a sex change operation and that she hadn't gotten her membership card changed yet. I near died of embarrassment.

David Batty played for Leeds and was one of my fave players, it was just a sureal moment, my Dadf talking to a hero of mine!! Didnt say much to him like...
