 I'm no peeping Tom, lol

The digital zoom isn't very good, but none ever are.

The original jpeg files are between 3-4.5mb each. I think I'll buy a 256mb card to go with the 128mb, 64mb and 32mb ones I already have (total about 80 pictures I can take so far)

Neil , is it a 5 mega pixal camera? did you know soon you will beable to get that on a phone? i'll get one when they do

Thomas Anderson 04-07-2005 07:43 PM

It's 5.3mp but I doubt getting it on phones here soon. Most of them only seem to be 0.53mp, if that

UKjovi 04-07-2005 07:51 PM

i dont know lot of them now are 1.3 mp my wifes one is , its a samsung d500

Thomas Anderson 04-07-2005 07:57 PM

There's a lot of difference between 1.3mp and 5.3mp, lol. You'd need a larger, higher quality lens, and seeing as decent 5mp+ cameras alone are around £200 I think a phone with one would cost a lot more.

My first digital camera, which came with my pc in late 99, was 0.8mp and was crap, the last I had was 3.1mp and now this one is 5.3mp, and each time there is a noticeable difference, it's not just a meaningless number.

It would be pointless really having such a high quality camera on a phone, when most of the pictures need to be sent so thus need to be small, and are only often viewed on little screens anyway.
