I'll probably wait 3 weeks before I see it again :P as I'm seeing Sin City this Friday and then in 2 weeks Batman Begins.

UKjovi 06-01-2005 11:11 PM

Neil , are you gooing to see war of the worlds? it looks realy good dont it?

Thomas Anderson 06-01-2005 11:30 PM

Yes I will certainly be seeing it. July 8th I think it's out, I'm on holiday though so won't get to see it until a few days after. I'll miss the Live 8 stuff though, hopefully I might find a bar with a big tv showing it.

UKjovi 06-01-2005 11:56 PM

live8 doesnt interest me at all . i think the way they have called for a million people to protest is so irraposible especaily from figure heads like them .it just shows how silly the whole thing is !!

Thomas Anderson 06-02-2005 12:04 AM

Well as much as I do understand the reasoning behind it I think for me it's just going to be a load of cool concerts to see. I think it is stupid of them not to use it as a fundraiser too, they could make millions for charity but they aren't going to.

UKjovi 06-02-2005 12:13 AM

well i dont think they have thought about it all all . kinda had a few beers and thought oh lets do that again. top of the morning to ya

Thomas Anderson 06-02-2005 04:53 AM

I know they are trying to raise awareness and that the governments of the world do have to act but such a massive worldwide event is prime oppurtunity to raise money. I know anyone can donate at any time but more actually do on events like this, like Comic Relief or Children In Need. They could raise millions, maybe billions.

Again with the glowing eyes

I think Anastacia is nice, and also one of the few pop singers today who can actually sing :P though I'm not keen on Avril Lavigne, and Paris Hilton, well she is just a rich chav

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! someone who agrees with me :D lol and u forgot jessica rabbit :P

Thomas Anderson 06-03-2005 04:19 AM

Silly thing I just remembered that sort of puts me off Jessica Rabbit (besides her being a cartoon :P)...she was voiced by Kathleen Turner, who played Chandlers transvestive Father in Friends

Despite the fact that I don't like many of their songs, the few female singers of today I think can really sing are Anastacia, Christina Aguilera and Shakira (probably more that I do like but can't think of lol)

Thomas Anderson 06-03-2005 05:29 AM

Thomas Anderson 06-07-2005 01:09 AM

QUEEN SCREEN DREAM
Band do Live 8 by satellite

THEY royally stole the show at Live Aid. Now, 20 years on, Queen hope to send us ga-ga again at Live 8 - even though their rock majesties can't be there in person.

The band - who are back together with Free's Paul Rodgers stepping into the stack-heeled shoes of the late, great Freddie Mercury - are playing in Portugal on July 2, when Live 8 takes place in London.

But they are so keen to take part in the spectacular gig, they are arranging a live satellite link-up from Lisbon's Estadio Restelo to Hyde Park. Spokesman Phil Symes tells us: "The band are playing an outdoor concert on the same day. They are discussing featuring at Live 8 on a big screen."

Rakel 06-07-2005 01:21 AM

i was checking the tickets prices, €45 to €60... i hope if bon jovi ever come here i can save some money :? and i can't go alone

Thomas Anderson 06-07-2005 01:32 AM

I think the tickets for Queen here were about £50, thats what I saw at the box office in Liverpool when they were selling the tickets for the Manchester show last month (it sold out fast I think)

Rakel 06-07-2005 05:10 AM

night :)
