American XS can suck my....

Seriously, what is the deal with pimping fans for an extra $10 just so you can buy tickets early. It was a novel idea two years ago that if you buy the CD you get access to pre-sales, but now asking the fan for additional money just to have the opportunity to buy tickets later, is a little bit offensive.

Think about how much frickin' revenue Ameican XS (and Bon Jovi) for that matter are going to make just because they know that we can't resist getting the chance to be part of Pre-Sales (even though the pre-Sale tickets aren't exactly the best).

I wish there was a way to boycott this B.S., but there's probably not.

Anyone else feel this pain?

I don't know how much $10 is in £ but if it isn't too much and there are some good downloads aswell as early ticket sales I might try it.

Nope since you get a lot of more stuff for free.

it looks like this by the way:

I still think it's ridiculous to let fans pay 10 dollars for 3 songs, a few wallpapers and a few videos. And it's not like tickets are sold that quick that you desperately need a presale.

That's true. But you can choose not to subscribe.

I don't think that they'll be able to do what they did with Bounce CD because I believe that the tour will be announced before the album is out.

Exactly! Why do you feel pain when you think there is nothing interesting on that site? Just don't subscribe then.... I'm sure some people will rip the audio and video files so everyone can see them.

Maybe they will do something with the wristbands through this system. It's a lot cheaper than the fanclub ;)

Hi

Can anybody who has access to AXP tell us what is in the "live shows", "extras" and "shop" areas???

Just to have a more precise idea of that stuff

JBJs_rock_angel 11-18-2004 01:48 AM

Seriously, it is not that big of a deal. It's like 83 cents a month. I think it's totally fine.

what kind of logic is that?

lol --- like the superstores that don't show the actual price anymore but rather the monthly financing rate..... good lord.

The way I look at it is, $10 = any other full album by any given artist vs. 3 songs by BJ.

I like the pre-sale thing, but don't want to spend $10 on it, as all the other artists I see give me the pre-sale for free :?

I think it's a load of bollocks. It's all well and good the record company making this box set 'affordable' for the fans. But then they go and tempt us with this sort of thing, and they know that they're going to make a lot from it.

What was that that Jon sang in Last Man Standing?

"So keep your pseudo-punk,
hip-hop, pop-rock junk
And your digital downloads"

Fair enough.
