1 year ahead
You know the emails where you get those lists you have to fill in :) Well, one of those questions was, where do you see yourself within a year ... In other words, what will you do from now till +/- November 2005???
If I speak for myself ... Celebrating NewYearseve in the company of all my friends, going to Madrid for 1 month on an exchange project (on my own :)), graduating (June, 17th to be exact ;)) - If I pass of course!! ... Hoping for a Bon Jovi-tour AFTER the 17th - that way I'll finally get the chance to go to more than 1 concert ... Meet a lot of friends again ... And you??? |
Going to Macon, GA next week.
Going to Nashville, TN in January. Usual summer convention in Biloxi in June. Turn 30 in June. :cry: Possible trip to Aspen in June. I hope to go to a lot of concerts next year. Aside from that, I'm making no predictions because I've found that the things you say you will do, you don't. I don't want to jinx myself. ;) Are you going to find and bump up this topic in November of next year? Becky |
Move to another city, into a house with 3 friends (which hopefully will be soon!);
say goodbye to one of my greatest years ever on NY's Eve; go finally back to London on my parents' expenses ;); go to Paris to visit one of my best friends who will be studying there in the spring; win the lottery and go to Canada / Alaska in the summer ;) (if not - maybe somewhat closer - Scandinavia); have another great year at uni; start planning my internship, which will be in just less than 2 years from now (got big plans - so it requires a lot of preperation ;) and I need to apply for a lot of commissions and stuff - so it might take a long time); maybe catch a few BJ concerts, U2 concerts, etc depends when they will be, catch a few LIVE concerts for sure; hopefully a good season of rowing from februari to july, I'm in the 3rd ladies 8 ever in the 129 years history of my club, so at least it should be fun :); forget my 22nd birthday in order to stay 21 forever :P; hm and I'm probably forgetting a lot I'm planning to do next year! |
By November next year...
I will have spent the first ever Christmas and New Year's away from my home. I will have graduated. I will have gotten a good job in my field in England (I just resigned myself from my permanent job in Finland today... I'd better find something in England!!!) I will have gotten married. I will have the first ever home with Tom, just the two of us. A nice place, probably rented, in a nice place in England. Whew, lots of huge changed about to happen in the next year! |
Aloha !
